The Roots of an Adventure:
Our story began long before the first kite flew over Jericoacoara. In the 90s, Bbel explored South America with a hippie spirit—traveling "pé no chão" (barefoot) and carrying only the wisdom of the road. In 2001, she chose Jeri as her home, bringing with her three languages and a vision for the future. When she met Marcos Gonzalez, a professional IKO instructor, their lives merged with the very history of kitesurfing in Brazil.
Pioneers of the Village
Back in 2003, kitesurfing wasn't just new—it was prohibited on Jericoacoara’s main beaches. Bbel and Marcos were the pioneers who fought to change that. They founded Info Kite School, the first-ever kite school in the village, working closely with the community and the National Park to prove that the sport and nature could thrive together. They were the ones who discovered new winds at the "Duna do Pôr do Sol" and opened the path for what Jeri is today.
The Evolution: From Secret Spots to Guriu
As the sport evolved, so did we. Our nomad spirit led us to explore beyond the known, discovering the "Secret Spot" at Guriú River—a flat-water paradise that changed the game for our students. Through the years, we transformed from Info Kite to Bbel Kite Experience, and now, Bbel Kite Center. Each name represents a new chapter of growth, but our core remains the same: high-performance gear, safety, and a deep respect for the ocean.

Today, with a family of six children and a deep connection to the local community through the J.A.K. (Jeri Kite Association), we are more than just instructors. We are hosts. Our team speaks Portuguese, Spanish, English, and French, ensuring that every traveler feels at home. When you kite with us, you aren't just taking a lesson; you are joining a 20-year legacy of passion, adrenaline, and the authentic Jericoacoara lifestyle.
